The BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Community Trust is a social welfare
organization. It was formed in 1999 and began operation in January of 2000 in
accordance with 26 U.S.C. 501 (c)(4).
Community Trust contribution dollars are based on formal, stated criteria that reflect and
reinforce our corporate purpose, beliefs and principles.
These priorities include:
Applications are welcome, though eligibility and restrictions apply to each application
submitted. Organizations that comply with the Community Trust guideline criteria must submit written information in order for us to properly consider the request.
Contribution criteria can be found on our submissions contribution form. Each
submission will be reviewed for eligibility, funding priority and budget consideration.
A committee will review each submission.
