Organizations who comply with the Tennessee Health Foundation guideline criteria must submit grant information in the format and time frame requested. Funding cycles are January, May and September. Deadlines for receipt of application are: Last day of January; May 1 and September 1.
STEP ONE
What you do: Submit a cover sheet
and letter of inquiry using the format provided.
What we do: Review your information and project description to determine if it appropriately aligns with our mission, funding scope and objectives. Should your project meet our criteria, you will receive an invitation to submit a full proposal packet. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to fund all worthy proposals.
STEP TWO
What you do: Submit a full proposal packet within 30 days of receipt of our invitation
letter. Please follow the designated format, submittal requirements and time frame.
Note: Full proposals will not be accepted unless you have received from us an affirmative response to your letter of inquiry.
What we do: Acknowledge receipt of your proposal packet within 5 business
days by mail or e-mail. A review of your proposal could take up to three months as we obtain more details about your organization and project through site visits and interviews.
STEP THREE
What we do: Send you a notification once the Grants Review Committee has
made its funding decision. Should your proposal be designated for funding, you will receive an awards letter and grant agreement, which will stipulate your requirements for project reporting.
