Blue Meets Nature - Volunteers from across the state engaged in work vital to keeping Tennessee beautiful. BlueCross’ five regional offices donated manpower toward the revitalization and preservation of their respective local area parks. Making an Impact With Teens
Girls Inc. of Chattanooga received a grant to continue the acclaimed IMPACT program in which teenage girls give presentations to their peers about the necessity of early prenatal care.  VIDEO

Electronic Health Records
Health care inefficiencies cost doctors, office personnel and patients, time, money and sometimes, their health. In an effort to curb one of these inefficiencies, the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) produced a series of videos aimed at encouraging health providers in Tennessee to adopt electronic health record (EHR) technology.  VIDEO

Corporate Giving


In 2012, our total corporate giving was more than $10.2 million. Of that, $6.2 million was distributed by the Tennessee Health Foundation. And $560,000 was given by the Community Trust to more than 160 charitable organizations.
