CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. –- BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s Jack Price was recently named president of the International Claim Association (ICA) at the organization’s annual business meeting. Price currently serves BlueCross as the manager of the special investigations unit.

The nation’s largest organization for claims professionals, ICA specializes in life, accident, health, disability and workers’ compensation insurance, as well as insurance fraud. The organization provides a wide range of education and communications programs for claims professionals.

Price’s new role as president of ICA will include speaking engagements at regional claim association functions, developing annual meetings and leading the organization as it expands member services. He will also serve as the chief spokesperson for ICA and preside over the board of directors meetings.

“Jack is well respected in the industry,” said Chris Murphy, executive director of ICA. “He has served on numerous ICA committees, and his involvement with other industry trade groups allows the ICA to benefit from his years of experience and accomplishments.”

In addition to his new appointment for ICA, Price is also on the board of directors for both the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association and the Chattanooga Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
