CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Board of Directors has named Nick Coussoule as senior vice president and chief information and strategic technology officer.

In this newly-created role, Coussoule will oversee the information systems and business engineering divisions. He will report directly to John Giblin, executive vice president and chief financial officer at BlueCross.

A Dartmouth College graduate, Coussoule brings to BlueCross more than 20 years of national and international experience in information technology consulting and management. He joins BlueCross from Crawford and Company Inc., the world’s largest provider of insurance claims management solutions, where he served as the senior vice president and chief information officer.
