MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Lisa Driver was recently named the new regional director of account management for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s operations in West Tennessee.

In this position, Driver is responsible for managing account operations and achieving objectives for profitability and persistency. To that end, she is charged with maintaining positive relationships with customers including members of the regional broker distribution system and key employer contacts. Additionally, Driver oversees the improvement of account management processes in the West region.

“Lisa has always been one of our top performers and has excellent relationships with clients and brokers,” said Tom Uustal, vice president of client management for BlueCross. “I think she has the experience, the knowledge and the service-oriented personality to provide the value on which our customers have come to rely.”

Driver has been with BlueCross for 27 years, including more than 13 years in account management. Her other supervisory roles were held in such areas as claims, coordination of benefits, subrogation and enrollment.

Driver, a life-long Memphian, attended LeMoyne Owen College. She and her husband currently live in Olive Branch, Miss.
