BlueCross Spring Fling Trivia Connects Sports Fans to the Action
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – BlueCross Spring Fling begins in Murfreesboro this week, when 4,200 student athletes will compete for state titles in baseball, softball, soccer, tennis and track and field. This year, BlueCross is inviting fans to get in on the action by playing an interactive mobile game, Spring Fling Code Quest. |
Spring Fling Code Quest is a trivia game that will allow high school sports fans to answer questions about the week’s sports via mobile web or home computer. Participants will be playing for a chance to win their school a $2,500 donation from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, as well as individual prizes including a video game console and $100 gift cards. Trivia categories correspond with the five TSSAA spring sports. A new category will unlock each day as the BlueCross Spring Fling competition progresses.
To play, fans must use a smartphone to scan the Code Quest QR code at the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee tent, which will be located at different event venues throughout the week. Fans who cannot make it to the event can play from home at www.springflingcodequest.com.
“Spring Fling Code Quest is a great way for us to engage fans who are at BlueCross Spring Fling, as well as the ones at home,” said Kathryn Smith, corporate sponsorship project manager for BlueCross. “This game provides an opportunity for faculty, students, parents and an entire community to show support for their school, and most importantly, it provides us an opportunity to give back to the communities that are so important to the success of BlueCross Spring Fling.”
Fans who are playing on-site must visit the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee tent each day to unlock a new question. Complete rules can be found at www.springflingcodequest.com.
