CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee announces the promotion of Larizza Huskey to director of market strategy. In this role, Huskey will oversee developing and directing strategic market planning and market research for all commercial business. She will be focused on external factors that impact commercial customers’ buying decisions.

Her extensive education and experience in research really gave her the edge.”

Previously Huskey served BlueCross as the advertising manager, overseeing statewide advertising and strategy initiatives. She championed campaigns that showcased employees’ thousands of volunteer hours along with the Tennessee Health Foundation’s partnership with the Tennessee Hospital Association to reduce hospital acquired infections. She also served BlueCross as a market analyst.

With more than 16 years of experience, Huskey has a long list of experience with data analysis and market research. Before joining BlueCross she held positions for companies such as Zeus BBDO and Corporación Cressida/Unilever.

Huskey has earned her MBA with an emphasis in finance from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana in Honduras and a Masters in Spanish Literature and Culture from Georgia State University. Also, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Principles of Marketing Research certificate from the University of Georgia. Huskey also participates in ongoing advanced research training at the Terry School of Business.
