You may apply for a BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee short-term plan up to two times (not to exceed three months) - our plans are not renewable. Applicants must wait six months before applying for additional short-term coverage after two policies or three months of coverage. Your BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Short-term coverage can be extended if you are hospitalized at the time your coverage expires.
