How Does It Work

Only your employer can contribute to your HRA.
Your contribution may be less than the full amount in some circumstances.
With automatic reimbursement, you don’t have to file claims.
All reimbursements must be substantiated.

  • Your employer determines which expenses will be eligible
  • Can be medical or pharmacy expenses:
    • Deductible
    • Coinsurance
    • Copay
  • All reimbursements must be substantiated
  • Automatic reimbursement claims are automatically substantiated
  • Submit Claims


Medical Plan Requirements

  • Can pair with almost any medical plan
  • May disqualify tax-free contributions to an HSA
