New Prescription Partnership for 2013!

Beginning Jan. 1, 2013, you and your employees' prescription drug benefits will be managed for BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee by Express Scripts®. Together we'll be able to provide greater savings, care and convenience.

We have taken many steps to make this a smooth transition. Here are the key points you and your employees need to know. Keep this information handy for future reference:

ID Cards — Members will receive a new member ID card during the month of December 2012 that will provide important information for pharmacists to fill prescriptions. This card will replace the current member ID card. The member ID number remains the same. Make sure your employees bring the new card to the pharmacy when they fill a prescription on or after Jan.1, 2013. They should continue to use their current card through Dec. 31, 2012.
