Upcoming Modifications to UM Guidelines BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee

Guidelines to be effective February 22, 2012:

Inpatient and Surgical Care:

• Renal Transplant

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will begin using Milliman Care Guidelines® 15th edition for Wound Care. The following Modified Utilization Management Guideline related to Wound Care will be archived:

• Wound Care - All BCBST modifications to Wound Care will be removed, therefore the Milliman Care Guideline will be used.
