Claims Information

• Tennessee Providers should submit claims for BlueAdvantage members directly to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, using their BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee provider number, as follows:
• If a Provider currently submits claims electronically to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the Provider may submit BlueAdvantage claims using the same process.
• Paper claims may be mailed to the following address:

Providers outside of Tennessee should file claims to their local Blue Plan in their normal manner.

Claims for BlueAdvantage Members should be filed using the same Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) billing guidelines, forms and codes as Original Medicare.
