Behavioral Health Organizations
VSHP provides a fully integrated health offering including behavioral health services for our BlueCare and TennCare Select members. Providers needing assistance for BlueCare members should call BlueCare Provider Service at 1-800-468-9736, and for assistance TennCareSelect members call TennCareSelect Provider Service at 1-800-276-1978.
When a SelectKids® member is seen at anytime by a behavioral health care provider, a copy of the medical record encounter must be sent to his or her primary care provider. Behavioral health providers may use the Medical Record Update Form, available in the forms section, to document services.
For Primary Care Providers in need of BH Referral/Consult:

- Staffed by individuals who can assist with accessing services for patient’s mental health needs
- Available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET)
Behavioral Health Consultation Line 1-877-241-5575
- For use by PCPS
- Staffed by Peer Advisors who are Board Certified Psychiatrists
- Available Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET)
