CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Web Marketing Association recently awarded BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee with its Outstanding Web Site honor at the association’s 11th annual WebAward competition.

Only three insurance Web sites were awarded the honor this year. Web sites are judged on design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, copywriting and use of technology.

“Our Web site is truly a collaborative effort between marketing and information services,” said Trevin Bernarding, e-business development manager for BlueCross. “In redesigning bcbst.com, we focused on consumer engagement and providing those features that can help Tennesseans make the best possible decisions to meet their health care needs.”
