Protecting Your Health — and now Your Identity

To help protect your privacy and security, we’ve teamed up with Experian, one of the world’s leading financial services companies, to give our members who have eligible medical coverage identity protection services at no additional cost.

Choose the Program That’s Right for You

  • IdentityWorksSM Credit 1-B provides credit monitoring, credit reports, fraud protection and fraud resolution support to adults with eligible BlueCross medical coverage. Each covered member age 18 or older will need to enroll separately.
  • IdentityWorksSM Minor Plus provides credit and SSN monitoring for all children dependents under age 18 in the household.

Sign Up for Protection

To sign up or renew, log in to BlueAccess and click on Benefits & Coverage, then Identity Protection Services. To create your account with Experian, you’ll need to have your BlueCross Member ID card and other personal information ready

How Enrollment Works

After you’ve signed up, your identity protection service will cover you for 12 months. Experian will let you know when your service is about to expire. When that happens, you can renew your service by logging in to BlueAccessSM.
