We have a new payment system in BlueAccessSM to help you manage your premium payments.

What’s Changing?

Effective January 1, 2017, debit cards and electronic check payments will still be accepted forms of payment. However, we will no longer accept credit cards as a payment option.

What's New?

The first time you log in to BlueAccess you can set up your payment options by entering your email address and preferred bank account information.

You’ll still be able to set up an automatic monthly payment from your checking account, as well as:

  • Store and use multiple bank accounts
  • Schedule one-time payments within 30 days of the due date
  • Cancel scheduled payments
  • View your payment history
You can also use the myBlue TNSM app to pay your premium.

Why do I have to provide my payment information again?
Because we are partnering with a new banking platform, they require you to agree to the terms and conditions and enter your payment information to use the new payment system.
When is my premium due?
Your premium is due on the first day of the month, which includes holidays and weekends.
How do I make a payment?

On our website – Making a payment by debit or e-check is fast and easy by signing into your BlueAccess account from your desktop computer or your smartphone. If you don’t have an account, you can register and set up an account.

After submitting your information, you can make a one-time payment or set up automated monthly payments. To complete either option, simply select “Make Payment” and follow the steps.

By phone – Call the number on your billing statement Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. (ET) or call us at 1-855-484-0282, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

By mail – Send a check* for the full premium amount to the address on your billing statement. If you do not have a billing statement, please call 1-855-484-0282.

In person – If you are in Nashville, stop by our Blue of TennesseeSM center at 100 Oaks Mall.

Through the mobile app – Download the myBlue TN app to make payments with your smart phone.

*Be sure to write your Subscriber ID on your check. You can find your Subscriber ID on your billing statement, your Member ID card or within BlueAccess on the My Account / My Contact Info page.

Why can’t I use a credit card to pay my premium?
Due to the rise in credit card processing fees, we’ve chosen to limit payment options to debit cards, electronic checks and automatic monthly payments. We believe in being good stewards of your premium dollars, and this change will help keep operational costs under control. We apologize for any inconvenience.
How do I set up automatic monthly payments?

You can set up your automatic monthly payment in three easy steps:

Step 1: Enter your payment information into the new system.
Step 2: Click on the “Payments” tab.
Step 3: Choose the “Recurring” button and fill out the form.

Note: If you have previously set up automatic payments, you will not need to re-enter your bank account information.
