BlueAccess for Employers

Welcome to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee BlueAccess. BlueAccess allows you to view benefits information in a secure environment, just as it appears right now in our computer system.

With e-Health Services, you can

  • verify benefits, including eligibility and coverage details
  • check medical, behavioral health and dental claim status (excludes prescription drug claims)
  • look up prior authorization status
  • order replacement ID cards
  • enroll new Employees and their Dependents
  • terminate coverage for an Employee and/or Dependents
  • make changes to employee subgroup and or Department ID
  • change employee and dependent personal information such as birthdate or sex
  • make eligibility changes such as changing employee benefits/coverage or adding dependents


Additional services:

  • e-Billing—Review past history of billing or premium invoices and create a real time member roster. Currently only available to some groups.
  • View/Print Bill—View and/or print your monthly statement of account.
  • Pay Your Bill Online—Pay your monthly statement of account using an electronic check.
  • View reports—View in PDF format the available Report Packages for your groups.
  • Internet reporting —Run reports and analyze your data.
  • HIPAA Tool Kit—HIPAA Privacy Compliance Tool

Some options in BlueAccess are not available to all groups due to HIPAA restrictions.


What is BlueAccess?
BlueAccess enables you to view up-to-date policy and claim information in a secure online environment.

Request PIN

Before using BlueAccess, you must request a personal identification number (PIN).



Once you have received your PIN, first time users must complete registration.

To improve your online experience, we are enhancing your available tools and resources. Soon, e-Health Services will deliver more solutions for group administrators. New features include a new enrollment tool, eNroll, plus many more.
