Special message from Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo: Building a Better HSA – with Help from You

Earlier this year, Wells Fargo hosted our annual Health Savings Account (HSA) customer and broker advisory councils. The goal was to bring together healthcare professionals to discuss HSA trends and provide feedback on the Wells Fargo HSA.

Here are some industry trends we learned:

  • Many companies are seeing significant growth in election of their HSA-compatible plans.
  • Many companies are undergoing full replacement of traditional plans with an HSA-compatible plan
  • Companies often see cost reductions with HSA-compatible plans versus traditional plans.
  • When properly educated about how to use HSAs, employees tend to be very satisfied with them.

Most feedback we received on recent enhancements to the Wells Fargo HSA was extremely positive.

  • One broker’s client’s HSA implementation had been seamless. “I feel like you have the tools in place for a very good employer enrollment.” Another broker concurred, adding, “Your improved implementation process was unbelievable.”
  • Another broker appreciates the personal attention she gets from her Wells Fargo HAS Relationship Manager. “He calls, he stops by. That never happens with other banks. He’s always there to help me.”

The Wells Fargo HSA
Wells Fargo is one of the Nation’s top HSA administrators. As of July 2009, we administered:

  • 13,600 employer-group HSA relationships
  • 206,000 HSA accountholders
