INSURANCE SIMPLIFIED

One monthly payment, no matter what

Level funding offers one consistent monthly payment, regardless of your actual monthly claims, along with lower taxes. And you may even get money back at the end of the year.

WHAT TO EXPECT

How does level funding work?

First, we'll work with you to figure out the coverage that's right for you, your employees and their families — the same way we always have.

Pick your plan

You can build plans ranging from HSA-compatible plans to plans with copays. All are available on Blue Network SSM or Blue Network PSM.

Head-to-toe coverage

Level funding includes medical, pharmacy and wellness coverage with the same access to clinical management programs and consumer tools as our fully insured plans.*

Simple funding

Once you've chosen the plan(s) you want, we set a fixed monthly payment amount that includes administrative expenses, stop-loss coverage and expected claims.

Save

If your total incurred claims costs are lower than your claims funding payments, you’ll share in a surplus credit upon renewing.

Level funding may not be right for all groups. Each group will be subject to underwriting review for a level-funded quote.
* Level-funded plans don't include pediatric dental and vision coverage or lifestyle health coaching.
