SMS Texting Terms and Conditions
By texting JOIN to 40000, you are opting into BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s (BCBST) marketing list, which may include outreach regarding your existing relationship with BCBST and new products and services that might be useful to you. By opt-ing in, you acknowledge that you are a member that is 18 or older, or you are the legal guardian or personal representative of a member. Further, you accept the security risks associate with text messages described below.
You can text STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to 40000 at any time to stop text messages from BCBST. Per federal regulations, BCBST has up to ten days to process your opt-out request. By opting in to receive text messages from BCBST, you consent that following a request to unsubscribe, you will receive one (1) final message from BCBST confirming that you have been inactivated in our system. Following the confirmation message, no additional text messages will be sent unless you re-activate your subscription.
BCBST does not have a separate charge for this service; however, message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Please contact your mobile carrier for specific information regarding your cell phone plan and text message charges.
BCBST reserves the right to terminate this SMS service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays. If you have any questions or need help, text HELP to 40000 or call 1-800-565-9140.
