Reminder: HSAs Administered by Msaver Transitioning to HealthEquity November 1

In August, all brokers and employers with HSAs administered through First Horizon Msaver were notified that the business had been purchased by HealthEquity, an IRS-approved HSA custodian. Here are some key dates to note:

  • October 28 – First Horizon Msaver (First Tennessee) debit cards will be deactivated
  • October 31 – HealthEquity debit cards will be activated

Other important information to note:

  • The monthly administration fee for all accounts tied to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is $2.50.
  • Members will not use checks, but can access payment/reimbursement capabilities on the website and by phone.
  • Customer service by CDH specialists is available 24/7.
  • A single login from BlueAccess to HealthEquity is planned for 2012.

Please make sure your groups are aware of the upcoming changes. Your customer service number will not change (1-866-375-1323). Please call them with any questions.
